Antique Pine Rope Carved Cupboard
A primitive pine cupboard, we believe it to be late Victorian era. We have been unable to find anything similar from our research. One thing we do know though, is that it has a great rustic look to with unusual rope design carved molding throughout. It would be perfect in a hallway as a console unit that could also double up as shoe storage, the internal width of the space will fit a men's size UK 9 or smaller.
We have cleaned the unit throughout and given it a light wax, although in sold condition and free from wood worm, its does have lots of marks and age related wear throughout. The top is slightly darker shade than the sides and front, but this all adds to its look and charm. The top is in pretty good shape with just a few minor marks, the front and sides show the most wear. Please review the images.
Measures 78cm long, 37.5cm deep and 82cm high. The internal cupboard space is 69cm long, 29cm deep and 38cm high on the top shelf and 31cm high on the bottom shelf.
