Crafted from a mix of solid oak and veneered panels, this fine looking chest of drawers by Morris of Glasgow has really stood the test of time. In very good condition throughout with just a few minor marks. There is subtle ring mark on the top along with a few other minor marks. Please review the pictures.

Three deep drawers all bearing the gold branding stamp, nicely finished with solid oak legs and handles.

Neil Morris designed the "Cumbrae" range of furniture in the 1950's (named after the Scottish islands in the firth of the River Clyde). The range was remarkably popular and was exhibited at the World's Fair and also won accolades in the late 1950's at the "Ideal Home Exhibition". Morris was at the forefront of Post War design.
